(Chatham-Kent, ON) On the 12th of August, 2013 at 6:25 a.m. the Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two vehicle collision on the 401 Highway eastbound, east of 401 Highway.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a car that was on the shoulder, pulled onto the highway directly in the path of a tractor-trailer that was in the passing lane. Both vehicles collided and the driver of the car was taken to hospital by ambulance with minor injuries. Charges are pending further investigation and updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
