Cyclist And Driver Identified
(WARWICK TOWNSHIP, ON) The cyclist involved in a collision with a Mack transport truck that occurred just after 6:00 p.m. on January 10, 2014 on Forest Road in the area of Hickory Creek Line has been identified as 18 year old Taylor JACKSON from Warwick Township. He remains in hospital with what are described as serious injuries.
The driver of the transport truck, 61 year old Milinko MILINKOVIC from Ethel, ON, has been charged with having defective brakes on a commercial motor vehicle under the Highway Traffic Act. He did not sustain any injuries.
Traffic was diverted around the area for several hours while the West Region OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation team (TTCI) conducted an investigation.
