(CITY OF TEMISKAMING SHORES, ON) Members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a fire at Ecole catholique St. Michel on October 22, 2013 at approximately 2:05 p.m.
Upon police arrival, the fire department was at the scene, and the fire had been extinguished in the boy’s washroom. All teachers, staff and students had been evacuated safely.
Through investigation a youth male 12 years, of Henwood Township is charged with Arson – causing damage to property – section 434 of the Criminal Code.
Accused will appear in Haileybury Youth Ontario Court of Justice on November 3, 2013.
