(RENFREW, ON) – The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid criminal charges against a 20 year old Pembroke resident after an August 16 fleeing suspect apprehension that was brought to a safe conclusion by deploying a spike belt. The driver of the suspect vehicle and the driver of the other vehicle suffered only minor injuries. Krystal Chartrand will appear in Bail Court in Pembroke August 20 today facing charges of:
Take Motor vehicle without consent
Dangerous driving
Fail to stop for police and,
Breach of probation.
The investigating officer is Cst Marc Bennett of the Renfrew Detachment.
