(Napanee, ON) – On July 20, 2016, at approximately 2:30 p.m. Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Napanee detachment responded to a collision involving an OPP cruiser and a milk truck on County Road 4, near Highway 401 in Loyalist Township, ON.
The police cruiser, which was occupied by two OPP officers from the Napanee detachment have been transported to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injury.
The driver of the milk truck did not sustain any injury.
The cause of the collision is under investigation and is in the preliminary stages. Anyone having information on this collision is asked to contact the OPP at 1 888 310 1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1 800 222 TIPS (8477).
