(Selwyn Township, ON) – On Monday, May 13, 2013, members of the Peterborough County OPP were called to investigate a report of a missing person from a Hilliard Street address in Selwyn Township.
The missing female is 58-year old Lorraine ROACH. She was last reported leaving her residence on May 11, 2013 at 1:30 a.m.
Although her Pontiac Montana van, was located on Ackison Road south of Lily Lake Road just west of the Peterborough City limits, there has been no trace of Lorraine ROACH.
Extensive searches in the last 17 months have revealed little information as to her whereabouts.
The investigation into the disappearance of Lorraine ROACH is continuing under the direction of Detective Inspector Kari Dart of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB).
On Tuesday October 28, 2014, as part of this ongoing investigation, members of the Peterborough County OPP Crime Unit, OPP (CIB), and OPP Forensic Investigative Services (FIS) executed a search warrant at the victim’s residence on Hilliard Street in Selwyn Township, in an effort to locate any evidence that may assist in the locating of Lorraine ROACH.
