(Ottawa, ON) -The Ottawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a driver and his passenger after an incident that occurred on Highway 417 eastbound near Maitland Avenue.
On November 13, 2014, at approximately 7:55 pm, a motor vehicle travelling on the highway was observed without any lights on, cutting in and out of traffic and cutting off other drivers. The officer then observed the passenger get up and stick his body out of the sunroof and put his arms to the side.
The vehicle was then pulled over.
A 17 year old male driver was charged with stunt driving and 17 year old male was charged with not wearing his seatbelt.
