OPP ASKS FOR PUBLIC’S HELP AS THEY INVESTIGATE PHARMACY BREAK AND ENTER

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking for the public’s assistance to help identify individuals involved in an overnight break and enter.

On October 2, 2014 at approximately 1:34 a.m. unknown suspects forced their way into the Shoppers Drug Mart on Dorchester Road in the Municipality of Thames Centre. Once inside, they removed a quantity of medications. The suspects fled the scene before police arrival..

The Middlesex County OPP Crime Unit and OPP Forensic Identification Service are continuing their investigation into this break-in and are searching for the suspects involved in this active investigation. Photos of the suspects are attached to this release.

Suspect one is described as a tall, thin male approximately 5’10”, wearing dark jacket/pants, bright yellow work gloves and black running shoes with a white Nike symbol.

Suspect two is described as male, medium height, stalky build, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black gloves and black shoes with a white sole.

Anyone who may come into contact with the suspects should not approach them. Instead, contact the police as soon as possible by calling 9-1-1.

The investigation is continuing and any person with information in relation to this break, enter and theft should immediately contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
