(Lansdowne,ON) On the 7th of October 2013 Ontario Provincial Police in Leeds and 1000 Islands responded to a call regarding a tractor trailer that had crashed into a rock cut.
At around 8:15 pm Leeds and 1000 Islands O.P.P officers were called to a crash which had occurred on County Rd 3 just south of the village of Lansdowne.
When officers arrived at the scene Leeds and 1000 Islands Fire Department as well as Leeds Grenville Ambulance were on scene.
The driver suffered minor injuries and was treated and released at the scene.
Officers determined that the driver had been drinking and arrested the driver.
Daniel Levers, 56 yrs of South Dundas Township has been charged with Driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
