OPP ARREST PAIR FOLLOWING WARRANT EXECUTION

(HALIBURTON, ON) – Following an extensive investigation, officers of the Haliburton Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested several local persons involved in the numerous thefts from motor vehicles in the Haliburton County area dating back to the spring of 2013. OPP plain clothes and uniformed members executed a search warrant on Friday January 03, 2014 at a residence on Wigamog road in Haliburton Ontario. As a result, Michael WALLWORK age 26 and Katlyn HOLLANDS age 22 both from Haliburton Ontario have both been arrested.

WALLWORK was charged with the following criminal offences:

Theft Under $5000 – 4 counts
Fail to Comply with Probation Order – 2 counts
Possession of a Controlled Substance – cocaine
Possession of a Controlled Substance – marihuana

HOLLANDS was charged with the following criminal offences:

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
Possession of a Controlled Substance – cocaine
Possession of a Controlled Substance – marihuana

The accused WALLWORK was held for a bail hearing to take place in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay Ontario on January 06, 2014. The accused HOLLANDS was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on March 05, 2014.
