OPP ARREST IMPAIRED DRIVER AFTER DRIVING ON RAILWAY TRACKS

(Mallorytown,ON.) – On the 15th of December 2013, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Leeds County received a report of a possible impaired driver heading eastbound on Hwy 401.

At around 4 p.m. the OPP received a report that a Gold coloured Toyota Camry was eastbound on Hwy 401 near the town of Gananoque being driven in an unsafe manner. The car continued east on Hwy 401 and then exited at Mallorytown. The car turned onto Yonges Mills Road where it was observed by an OPP officer.

The officer attempted to stop the car at which time the car turned east onto the railway tracks off of Yonges Mills Rd and got stuck. The car was later towed off the tracks.

The driver, 36 year old Nadine PYRAM of Montreal, Quebec, has been charged with Impaired Driving and Driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol.
