OPP ARREST IMPAIRED DRIVER

(Prince Edward County, ON)—On July 25, 2013 at 5:33pm officers from the Ontario Provincial Police—Prince Edward County detachment was called to a Consecon business on Loyalist Parkway regarding an intoxicated male. As police arrived, the male was stopped in a motor vehicle and had been consuming alcohol.

47-year old Kevin McCORMICK of Belleville, ON was charged with the following:
• Operating While Impaired, contrary to section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada
• Operation with Over 80mgs. of Alcohol, to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada

The accused was later released from police custody on a promise to appear with a court date of August 14, 2013 in Picton, ON.
