(Lansdowne,ON.) – On the 29th h of December 2013 at around 11:00 a.m., Ontario Provincial Police in Leeds and 1000 Islands received a complaint of a Hydro One Truck driving in an unsafe manner eastbound on Hwy 401.
The officer stopped the vehicle eastbound near Hwy 137and conducted an investigation into the manner in which the truck was being driven.
As a result of the investigation the driver of the truck was arrested.
Allan PORTEOUS, 55 of North Dundas Township has been charged with Impaired Driving and More than 80 mgs of alcohol contrary the Criminal Code of Canada.
He is to appear in Brockville Court on 31 January 2014
