(BRACEBRIDGE, ON) – OPP would like to warn residents to be cautious of sales or service people that arrive in a door-to-door fashion. Should a salesperson come to your door selling any product or service, be very guarded and ask the salesperson for their credentials. NO ONE may enter your home without your consent and should you feel uncomfortable at any time, ask the salesperson to leave. If the person will not leave when asked, call police at 1-888-310-1122 or call 9-1-1.
If you are interested in the product, be sure to take the time to look over any proposal and read the fine print. You do not need to sign immediately. Do not share personal information unless you are sure you want to sign a contract.
