Operator Of Snow Vehicle Charged With Impaired

(Gravenhurst, ON) – Members of the Bracebridge Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the town of Gravenhurst with a motorized snow vehicle on Sunday morning, January 11th, 2015 shortly after 1:35 a.m. The operator of the snow vehicle attempted to evade police, ultimately striking a parked police cruiser with its emergency lights engaged on Winhara Road in Gravenhurst.

32 year-old Cory Bond of Gravenhurst was arrested and charged with Impaired Driving CC253(1)(a) and Over 80 CC253(1)(b) and will appear in Bracebridge court on February 3rd, 2015.
