(SIOUX LOOKOUT, ON) Over the past six months Sioux Lookout Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with the assistance of the Northwest Region Crime Unit and the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB) has conducted an undercover project to address the local bootlegging problem.
As a result of the project Robert EBY (76 yrs) and Gilbert BELMORE (41 yrs) both of Sioux Lookout have been charged with two counts of Unlawfully Supply Liquor contrary to Section 5(1) of the Liquor License Act. Christopher SINGLETON (30 yrs) of Sioux Lookout has also been charged with one count of Unlawfully Supply Liquor.
All three accused were charged by way of summons with court dates in Sioux Lookout.
