ONTARIO LAW ENFORCEMENT TORCH RUN FOR SPECIAL OLYMPICS

(NORTH BAY, ON) -On May 20, 2014, Officers with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and North Bay Police Services (NBPS) along with local Special Olympians will be running and walking to raise funds for and awareness of Special Olympics.

The Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run is a community based, province-wide event that sees the “Flame of Hope” carried across Ontario by members of Law Enforcement agencies.

The event will start at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at North Bay Police Services office and finish at the Waterfront Band Shell. There will be a barbeque that will be run by employees of Burger World from Hammond Street and proceeds will go to the 2015 Winter Games.

BRAD JACOBS, Olympic Gold Medal Curler from Sochi will be joining us for the run and will available for autographs. Don’t miss this amazing opportunity to support the Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics.
