(LAMBTON, ON) The Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Enniskillen Fire Department, Plympton-Wyoming Fire Department and Lambton County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) are currently at the scene of a residential structure fire on Queen Street, Petrolia, Ontario.
On Wednesday April 6th, 2016 at approximately 11:00 a.m., the Lambton County OPP was requested to attend Queen Street, Petrolia to assist Enniskillen Fire Department with a residential structure fire. Upon arrival, police observed that the residence was already completed engulfed by fire. One person was removed from the residence and has been transported to hospital by EMS with serious injuries. Plympton-Wyoming Fire Department was requested and is also at scene assisting.
Queen Street, Petrolia will be closed to both pedestrian and motor vehicle traffic until further advised.
