(TOWN OF PENETANGUISHENE, ON) – This afternoon at 4:48 p.m. a serious motor vehicle collision occurred on Fuller Ave in the Town of Penetanguishene, ON.
The male driver sustained serious injuries and has been transported by Air Ambulance Ornge to a Toronto area trauma centre from Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland.
As a result of the collision, the province’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) has been notified and has invoked its mandate. Further inquiries should be directed to SIU communications at (416) 622-2342.
Fuller Ave between Chatham Street and Robillard Drive will remain closed until further notice while members of the OPP’s Technical Traffic Collision Investigation (TTCI) and the SIU complete their investigation.
