(CLEARVIEW TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On July 25, 2018 at approximately 2:00 p.m., members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Clearview Fire Department and Simcoe County Paramedic Service responded to a motor vehicle collision (MVC) involving two vehicles on County Road #10 and Concession #12 in Clearview Township.
The 86 year old driver from Wasaga Beach, Ontario, was subsequently airlifted to a hospital in Toronto, Ontario with serious injuries. The Driver of the second motor vehicle had minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
The investigation into this motor vehicle collision is ongoing with the assistance of OPP Central Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigation (TTCI) Unit. County Road #10 and Concession #12 have been reopened.
