(LEAMINGTON, ON) – On January 31, 2017, an Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) member engaged himself in short term secondary employment lending a helping hand while on general patrol in Leamington, Ontario.

Provincial Constable Fadi Abd Eljaber found himself out of the warm confines of his police cruiser stopping to help a woman shovel her driveway on a quiet snow covered street shortly after 9:00 a.m.

A recent deposit of snow left Essex County residents not only shoveling out but forced to navigate safely on area roadways until they were cleared by municipal and county services.
