(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 22 year old male after police stopped a vehicle at a Queensway West, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Friday, November 15, 2013, at approximately 1:14 a.m., police were conducting patrols in the area of Queensway West and Hume Street, when a vehicle attracted an officer’s attention. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and investigated.
Charged with the following offences is 22 year old Logan William BEAM of Norfolk County, Ontario.
Unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle.
Possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearm.
Carry a concealed weapon.
Careless storage of a firearm.
Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose.
Possession of Marihuana.
Possession of Cannabis Resin.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
