(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – A County of Brant, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was on general patrol on Blue Lake Road and observed a vehicle being driven in an erratic manner.
At approximately 8:54 p.m. Monday January 13th, 2014, an officer stopped a blue Lexus that was being driven in an erratic manner on Blue Lake Road. While an officer was talking to the male driver, he observed all the usual signs of impairment by alcohol. The driver was transported to the County of Brant OPP detachment for Intoxilyzer Tests.
Robert COWAN 72 years of age from the County of Brant is facing the following Criminal charges
Impaired Driving
Drive over 80 milligrams
The accused is scheduled to attend Provincial Court in Brantford on February 7th, 2014 to answer to the charges.
