(HALIBURTON, ON) – On April 29, 2016 just after 6:00 p.m., officers from the Haliburton Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two vehicle motor vehicle collision on Highway 118 at Kennisis Lake Road in the Township of Dysart et al.
As the officer was turning left to pull in behind the collision, the front right tire went off the shoulder and the car struck a culvert. The fully marked police cruiser sustained minor damage and there were no injuries to the police officer who was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
The investigation is ongoing.
