(TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH, ON) – On January 5, 2016, as a result of an investigation by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Professional Standards Bureau (PSB), officers arrested and charged 49-year old Provincial Constable Mario IUSI, of Amaranth Township, Ontario with Assault (2 Counts), contrary to Section 266 of the Criminal Code of Canada.
He has been charged as a result of an allegation stemming from an off-duty incident that occurred in November 2015 and has been released on a Promise to Appear and Officer-in-Charge Undertaking to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford on February 11, 2016.
He is a 14-year member of the OPP and is currently posted to the Dufferin OPP Detachment.
