Officer Ditches Vehicle Along County Road 20

(BRUCE TWP, ON) – On April 19, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., a member of the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on patrol along Bruce County Road 20 in Bruce Township.

The police vehicle was westbound when it left the roadway and entered the ditch near the intersection of Bruce County Road 20 and Tie Road.

The driver of the cruiser, a police officer for 12 years, had minor injuries assessed at a local hospital.

The investigation is continuing.
