At approximately 1:30 pm on October 23/2014, police responded to the apartment building located at 48 Weber St W, in the city of Kitchener, after receiving a report of 3 armed males in the area. Patrol officers and Tactical units responded and searched the complex but were unable to locate any suspects or victim. Area residents were questioned but no witnesses were able to substantiate the original callers reports. There are no concerns for public safety. Police are asking for the public’s assistance for any information in regards to this incident.
