(LAKESHORE, ON) -The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic initiative over the weekend targeting Off Road Vehicles along the Lake St. Clair coastline and Lakeshore frozen waterway.
In total, officers checked 160 off- road vehicles, including All- Terrain Vehicles (ATV) and Motorized Snow Vehicles.
Thirteen charges were laid to operators of Motorized Snow Vehicles while 49 operators were issued warnings.
Two ATV operators were charged and another 6 were warned.
Of particular interest, the majority of riders were in full compliance with zero alcohol violations.
