(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) –Members of the County of Brant, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to Highway #24 South on September 4, 2015 at approximately noon to investigate a motor vehicle collision.
OPP members along with County of Brant Fire and County of Brant Ambulance service attended the scene and located what was originally believed to be a single vehicle collision.
OPP investigators have determined that an object went through the windshield of a north bound car striking and killing the driver.
The female driver and sole occupant of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Red 2010 Kia Forte has been identified as a 35-year-old Kelly BEAL of Brantford, Ontario.
Police located near the scene a 1999 Ford F350 which is currently being inspected by investigators to determine if it played a role in this incident.
