Numerous Firearms Now In Criminal Hands

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – On September 24, 2017, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a break & enter on Avon Drive, Thames Centre.

The investigation, thus far, has revealed that culprit(s) trespassed, and breached a door to the residence.

Once inside, culprits stole a number of firearms, including a number of rifles and antique firearms.

Residents of Middlesex County are reminded to immediately report suspicious vehicles and persons to police by calling 9-1-1.

The Elgin-Middlesex Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) is investigating.
