North Perth-Perth4Youth Project Launch & Vision Setting Meeting

The Municipality of North Perth – Perth4Youth core team is currently recruiting volunteers with an interest in contributing to the development of a Youth Attraction Strategy.

The North Perth – Perth4Youth core team is holding their first community meeting on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the Elma Memorial Community Centre in Atwood from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Youth age 15-29 years and others who want to make a difference in the future of their community are encouraged to attend.

The community meeting will focus on the project launch and setting a vision for the Youth Attraction Strategy. There will be additional community meetings scheduled throughout the Perth4Youth process.

The North Perth – Perth4Youth community meetings offer a chance to learn about strategic planning, have your voice heard and make a difference in your community. You will also have the opportunity to work with members of the community, including municipal politicians and staff, concerned citizens, business leaders, educators, and of course, youth.

If you are interested in attending, please RSVP by February 8, 2017 to Kim Kowch, North Perth Community Development Coordinator, by phone at (519) 292-2043 or e-mail at [email protected].

The Perth4Youth initiative is a partnership with the municipalities of Perth County and facilitated by the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA).
