North Huron Male Airlifted To London After Hunting Accident

(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are investigating a hunting accident that occurred northeast of Blyth this afternoon. At approximately 4:00 p.m. Huron County OPP officers and paramedics from Huron County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) attended a property on St. Michael’s Road to assist a male that was shot by a hunter in his hunting party.

The 42 year old male from North Huron was transported to Wingham and District Hospital by land ambulance and then airlifted to London Health Sciences Centre – Victoria Hospital with serious injuries.

Police continue to investigate.
