Many of you may remember the Hometown Security Act that was rammed through council one night in three readings with zero Public input or knowledge. That night you were warned that more oppressive measures would be brought to council and every last Right we have will be stripped away from us. Vincent has almost completed that task while you sit on your ass bitching and moaning in virtual silence while our Constitution has been shit upon by those sworn and paid to protect it.
At the 01May2017 HN council meeting a new North Huron Gun Control law was being considered.
If you are for or against gun control in North Huron you need to contact council ASAP and let them know where you stand. There is a good chance current reeve vincent will veto council and do as he sees fit anyway, but that’s no excuse to let this dictator rise to greater power. I can virtually assure you that vincent will do exactly as a crowd of gun owners and Rights advocates demand.
Just in case you can’t see the forest for the trees and think our Constitution is being upheld by those that have sworn an oath to protect it. Let’s review:
You can not question North Huron Council at meetings.
You can not record a council meeting, police board meeting or Town Hall meeting.
There have been pre-emptive arrests for those that might ask a question after a council meeting.
The Hometown Security Act allows town staff to raid your home if you have cameras, fences, gated lane, long lane, barred windows etc.
Bylaw office that claims to have power to enter and inspect any property without warrant or consent.
You can not stop and talk to anyone on a sidewalk in Wingham. (1698-1982)
To find out if your archery club is going to be illegal, or if you will go to jail for shooting a rabid skunk under the proposed North Huron Gun Control Act, you need to contact council ASAP.
