(North Huron) Reeve Bernie Bailey has started to solve the flooding problem in Wingham, Lowertown and surrounding area. North Huron will be known as a leader in flood management, a blueprint for all of Canada and the world to follow. North Huron Reeve Bernie Bailey keenly noticed that everywhere in area that suffers from flooding, has floodplains.
These floodplains are clearly the cause, so to solve the problem you simply need to fill in the floodplains. Its not rocket surgery, its simple science. Those supplying the aggregate to this massive project agree that this multi-million dollar project is an excellent idea.
This innovative program has already started at the corner of hwys 4 & 86. This project is so vital that environmental studies were not required. Those studies are expensive and will only prove that North Huron Reeve Bernie Bailey is correct again. Bailey was elected in 2018 with over 95% of the votes based on his business record.
The fact that there was no flood problem in Wingham this year proves we are on the right track, and that filling the floodplain is the only solution to protect the ratepayers.
