Normand BOURGOUIN – Break and Enter X2, Mischief, Breach X2

(LAURENTIAN HILLS, ON) – On the afternoon of June 16, 2016 the Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a residence on Highway 17 in Laurentian Hills after it was discovered that a break, enter and theft had occurred at the residence earlier that day. Forced entry was made to the residence and items stolen included a computer, cash, prescription medication and a bicycle.

On the morning of June 18, 2016 police were called to a break, enter and theft that was discovered at the Head-Clara-Maria (HCM) Township Municipal garage on Township Hall Road. Tools were stolen and Township property was damaged. Later on June 18, 2016 police located and arrested a male pedestrian on Highway 17 in HCM Township that matched the description of the suspect in the municipal garage break in. The male was found to be in possession of items stolen from both break and enters.

As a result 46 year old Normand BOURGOUIN of Sudbury, Ontario has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

Break, Enter and Theft – 2 counts

Possession of Break-In Instruments

Mischief Under $5000 – 2 counts

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000 – 2 counts

Fail to Comply with Probation – 2 counts

He was held for a bail hearing on June 19, 2016 and remains in custody until his next court appearance on June 27, 2016 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke.
