Norman SCOTT – Drunk Driving

(PETROLIA, ON) –On Saturday July 25, 2015, members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a R.I.D.E. Program in the area of St. Clair Parkway and Brander Road, St. Clair Township.

At approximately 11:44 p.m., a member of the Lambton OPP observed a motor vehicle approaching the R.I.D.E. Program being operated in a concerning manner. The vehicle was stopped in the R.I.D.E. Program and officers made contact with the male driver. Upon speaking with the male driver, officers formed the opinion that the driver’s ability to operate the vehicle was impaired due the consumption of alcoholic beverages. The male driver was arrested and transported for breath testing which resulted in readings more than twice the legal limit.

Driving While Ability Impaired

Driving with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol in Blood

The accused will appear in the Sarnia Ontario Court of Justice on Monday August 17, 2015.
