NOISE COMPLIANT LEADS TO DRUG ARREST

(CHATHAM-KENT, ON)- On Monday August 26, 2013 at 10:55 p.m. members of the Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the Wheatley Provincial Park in response to a noise complaint and drug related call, at the request of the Park Warden.

Police learned that the Park Warden responded to a noise complaint at one of the local camp sites. Once on scene the Park Warden located a quaintly of drugs at which time he contacted police for assistance.

As a result of an investigation police have charged Nathanial GARLEY, age 21 of Windsor, ON with:

Possession Schedule II Cannabis Marihuana – under 30grams as per Section 4(1) CDSA
Possession Schedule II Cannabis resin – under 1gram 4(1) CDSA
Possession Schedule III 4(1) CDSA

The accused party was released from police custody by way of an Appearance Notice and is scheduled to appear in a Chatham Court room on October 10, 2013 to speak to the charges.
