(GODERICH, ON) Yesterday afternoon around 6:00 p.m. Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were dispatched to a residence on Bruce Street in Goderich for a noise complaint of loud music. Upon arriving at the residence officers spoke with a male tenant. He was observed to be under the influence of alcohol and in possession of alcohol. A check on the male revealed he was currently on release conditions to abstain from the consumption of alcohol.
Officers also spotted two stolen shopping carts inside the residence.
Police have charged 27 year old Joshua BLACK with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000 and Fail to Comply with an Undertaking. He remains in custody with a court appearance scheduled for September 16, 2013 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
