(MOOSONEE, ON) – On June 24, 2015 at approximately 8:30 pm, the Moosonee Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to a disturbance on Wavey Crescent.
Members of the Moosonee OPP arrived at the scene moments later and conducted an investigation which led to the arrest of a female. During the arrest the female kicked officers numerous times.
As a result of this incident, Noella NAKOGEE (31), of Moosonee Ontario, is charged with one count of assaulting a peace officer.
The accused was released on a promise to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Moosonee on September 1, 2015.
