Noah LINDSAY – Impaired Driving, Breach, No Licence etc.

(HOWICK, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police has charged a 20 year old from Fordwich with several offences following a call to police on July 10, 2014. At approximately 12:30 a.m. police received a call from the owner of a Honda Accord advising his son has just left the residence driving his vehicle without permission.

Officers commenced patrols for the vehicle and were able to spot the vehicle travelling northbound on Fordwich Line.. Officers observed erratic driving and subsequently stopped the vehicle on Orange Hill Road.

After speaking with the driver officers noted the driver was under the influence of drugs and his ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired. The driver was subsequently arrested for impaired operation and transported to the Huron OPP Detachment.

A check revealed the driver was currently serving a probation sentence and was breaching his conditions of release. In addition, further checks revealed the driver was unlicensed.

As a result, Noah LINDSAY, 20 years of age from Fordwich has been charged with Impaired Driving, Take Motor Vehicle Without Consent, Fail to Comply with Probation Order (2 counts), Drive Motor Vehicle – No Licence and Disobey Stop Sign – Stop Wrong Place. He has been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for August 21, 2014 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Wingham.
