(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) â The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment and Norfolk County Fire Services were called to a Sylvia Street, Waterford, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Friday, May 22, 2015 at approximately 2:01 a.m., OPP responded to a house fire.
Members of the Norfolk County Fire Department arrived on scene and the fire was brought under control by the attending fire fighters.
Through investigation, it was determined that the fire was caused by a night light that came into contact with a mattress. The occupants of the home were able to remove the mattress from the home where firefighters extinguished it.
No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
