(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON)- On Friday January 24, 2014 at 00:20 a.m. police observed a speeding motor vehicle on Glendon Drive. A traffic stop was completed at which time police learned that the driver had been drinking. A roadside screening test was administered and the driver registered a “FAILâ€Â. The driver was placed under arrest at the scene and transported to the OPP detachment for further tests.
As a result of an investigation police have charged Nigel WILSON, age 58 of Southwest Middlesex with Driving a Motor Vehicle with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood as per Section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code and Speeding as per Section 128 of the Highway Traffic Act. The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear in a London court room on February 20, 2014 to speak to the charges.
