Nicole M. E. TENHAVE – 140 in an 80

(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) – On Thursday April 5, 2018 at approximately 1:00 a.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was monitoring traffic on The Hanlon Expressway, Guelph. The officer observed a female driving an orange passenger vehicle at a speed that appeared to be well above the posted 80 km/h speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar in excess of 140 km/h, exceeding the posted speed limit by at least 60 km/h.

41-year-old Nicole M. E. TENHAVE of Scarborough has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and is scheduled to appear in Guelph Provincial Court on May 16, 2018. Her driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of seven days as per statute.
