(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHGATE, ON) – On May 19, 2017 at approximately 4:04 p.m. Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a 2011 Ford Focus vehicle for travelling at a high rate of speed northbound on Hwy. 6 near Southgate Road 24 in the Township of Southgate.
18-year old Nicole KUPFERSCHMIDT of Puslinch was issued a Part III Summons for racing – speeding more than 50 km/hr over the posted 80 km/hr speed limit under the Highway Traffic Act (HTA). She was given a 7-day driver’s licence suspension and her vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
She is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on June 12, 2017.
