(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Sunday morning June 05, 2011 around 1 a.m. a Perth County OPP officer stopped a car on Hwy. 23 south of Mitchell. The male driver of the car was administered a road side breath test which he failed. He was subsequently transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment in Sebringville where he failed two Intoxilyzer breath tests.
Nick Collings (33) of Lucan Diddulph Twp. has been charged with operating a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs. of alcohol in 100 ml of blood. He is set to appear in Stratford Provincial court on July 04, 2011 to answer to this charge. He has also received an immediate 90 day driver’s licence suspension and his vehicle has been impounded for 7 days.
