(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – Officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment executed a search warrant at a Kirkfield area address on April 7, 2016. The warrant was part of an investigation commenced as a result of a theft concern raised by Hydro One.
As a result of the investigation the residents, 33 year old Jonathan NICHOLSON and 25 year old Cassandra HYNES, are charged with Theft of Hydro of a Value Exceeding $5000 contrary to section 326(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on May 19, 2016.
