North Huron has seen a rash of senior management resignations this year, and a few more are needed to collapse the “Old Boys Club” / “Parasite Infested Swamp” of Town Hall. Clearly North Huron’s economic development experiment has failed and yielded no results, other than fatter wallets for the shameless parasites involved. Wingham was in much better shape before this department existed. It’s time to seriously reconsider the continued existence of this department, as eliminating it would save the taxpayers about $200,000+/year.
Our facilities are in poor shape, and Public pressure and fundraisers were required before a fire suppression system was installed at Town Hall. This clearly was a massive failure on the part of North Huron’s senior management. The failed half million dollar pool liner experiment, closing the pool during the summer weekends, trying to sell the trailer park and airport, day-camp scandal, leaky roofs, etc. are only a few of the reasons it’s time to re-staff the senior management in the Recreation and Facilities Departments.
In order for North Huron to continue to move forward Pat Newson and Connie Goodall should offer their immediate resignations.
