NATURAL GAS LEAK IN FOREST – OPP EVACUATING RESIDENTS

(LAMBTON SHORES, ON) Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers and members of the Forest Fire Department are in the process of evacuating a number of residents who live in the north end of Forest because of a natural gas leak in the area of Townsend Line and Broadway Street.

As of 2:00 a.m. on January 7, 2014, people in the residences and businesses on King Street north of Townsend Line are being evacuated to the Forest Legion.

Union Gas has been contacted and is currently on scene.
