(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On August 6, 2016 at approximately 9:40 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a traffic complaint about a 2014 Volkswagen. Police located the vehicle on Highway 6 near Wellington Road 34 and it entered Highway 401 westbound towards Town Line Road.
While speaking with the female driver, police believed that alcohol was consumed. A Roadside Screening Device test was administered which resulted in a fail. The driver was arrested and transported to an OPP Operation Centre for further testing.
Her driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for a period of seven days as per statute.
29-year-old Natallia KASMACHOVA of Kitchener has been charged with Over 80 Mgs contrary to the Criminal Code. She is to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on September 13, 2016.
