(TOWN OF FERGUS, ON) – On Wednesday September 28, 2012 at approximately 1:15pm County of Wellington OPP officers were notified of a shoplifter found at the Zehrs Markets at 800 Tower Street, in Fergus.
The Loss Prevention Officer noticed a female party take a magazine from the shelf and place it in her personal bag. The female paid for her groceries then exited the store without paying for the magazine. The female was confronted by the Loss Prevention Officer and arrested for theft.
Nancy Jackson aged 65 of Elora has been charged with Theft Under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on October 30, 2012 to answer to the charge.
